Business Owners and Managers
“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Before becoming a therapist, Gabe started a business from nothing, built a team of employees, and sold it almost 18 years later. While the last seven years of his business would be considered successful outwardly, he struggled internally more often than not. After transitioning to becoming a therapist, he recognized how useful professional counseling could have been had he sought support as a business owner, especially from someone that understood his world. Therefore, he decided to create a niche for this population segment.
Your professional role is oftentimes demanding and lonely.
Signs that professional, confidential support is right for you:
Recognizing a reduced capacity for work-related stress
Questioning how much longer you can handle this role
Struggling to turn off your thoughts
Feeling edgy more often
Feeling checked out in areas of life that should matter
Trouble sleeping
Loss of joy or satisfaction, including at home or with relationships
Nervous system is easily triggered
Your mantra is, “I have to keep it all together. People are counting on me.”
“With my combined experience as a business owner and expertise in mental health, I want to come alongside you to increase your capacity for whatever you face and to help discover a new sense of ease and restored hope.” - Gabe
